Join Seth Apter and Roxanne Evans Stout for their legendary Case of Curiosities, a mixed media art retreat in Taos, New Mexico at the Mabel Dodge Luhan House

Imagine, each day awakening to a gourmet breakfast with creative souls, art lovers, and fellow kindred spirits, then immersing yourself into creating, playing, exploring and art-making to your heart's content.

Our projects begin with a simple case of your own choosing. This case can have many compartments, or niches, of all different sizes or can be one open space. Throughout the retreat, we will fill it with unique art pieces such as handmade books, paintings, collages, assemblages, scrolls, shrines and tapestries.  For those of you who have attended before, please note that all the individual projects are new. We will stitch and weave, connect and construct, assemble and build, write and sketch, all the while creating our own, unique Case of Curiosities.
